About Us - Siblings Bakery

My name is Dee Gupta and I am the owner and the Cake Artist at Siblings Bakery. My love and passion for eating, admiring and baking cakes started really early on. My mom tells me that I started baking and cooking at the age of 4 and even just a mere mention of cakes or desserts would light up my face. It still does to date 🙂. My mom also confessed to me that in my childhood she cleverly used the cake bribing to get anything accomplished. It was that easy for her 😡 !!! While growing up, our family couldn’t afford a lot of luxuries (yes, an oven was a luxury), but my parents managed to build a make-shift oven for me by using oversized utensils with some manipulation of electrical wires. Trust me that it not only worked, but worked wonders. I proudly say that was my most prized possession and that is where the love for baking became stronger and stronger. It was until much much later that I decided to pursue a course in French Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu School in Pasadena, CA. It was my dad and my husband who encouraged me and enrolled me to pursue my passion. However, my dad passed away while I was still in the school. I passed with a 4.0 GPA but I knew I was never going to bake again. It was not until my son’s first birthday when my husband refused to buy a cake and forced me to bake again. It was hard but I moved past the hurt and one cake led to another. Now it’s all about creating memories, one cake at a time…….

A great tasting cake is our primary goal and with great looks is just a cherry on the cake. We offer a wide variety of flavors and a mix and match menu. We will also take up any challenge to bring your special flavor to your party. Our menu is not limited to creating custom cakes but also cupcakes, cake pops, and dessert table goodies.
